BuzzBallz enters Maharashtra with four flavours, including new Jamun Mint Pop
The 15 per cent ABV ready-to-drink brand expands to Pune and Mumbai this month
MUMBAI: Maharashtra is getting a little more ballsy. Ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage brand BuzzBallz is expanding into the state with four flavours, bringing its 15 per cent ABV range to Pune and Mumbai.
The brand is already available across Pune and is set to launch in Mumbai by the end of September. The move follows its India debut in Bangalore in December 2025 and expansion into Goa in May.
BuzzBallz comes in its distinctive 180 ml ball-shaped packaging and is priced at Rs 125. The brand is positioning the single-serve format around convenience, bold flavours and easy consumption.
The Maharashtra launch also introduces Jamun Mint Pop, a new flavour developed for the Indian market. The range includes four India-exclusive combinations:
- Berry Lemon Squeeze: Berry and lemon with a tangy, zesty profile
- Strawberry Squeeze: Strawberry and lemon with a refreshing finish
- Chili Guava Groove: A sweet-and-spicy guava and chilli combination
- Jamun Mint Pop: Sweet jamun with a minty kick
“The response we have seen to BuzzBallz in India has been incredibly encouraging, and Maharashtra was a market we were particularly excited about entering,” said BuzzBallz president Jess Scheerhorn.
“We’ve seen incredible momentum since our launch in late 2025, and that response tells us adult Indian consumers are ready for a bolder, more convenient way to enjoy cocktails,” Scheerhorn added.
With Pune and Mumbai joining its footprint, BuzzBallz is now present across three states and four cities in less than a year. The company said it has seen strong interest from retailers, distributors and consumers, including social media requests for the brand to enter Maharashtra.
Scheerhorn said the brand’s proposition combines its recognisable packaging, bold flavours, 15 per cent ABV and single-serve format, offering something different from conventional alcoholic beverages.
The expansion comes as India’s ready-to-drink segment gains traction, with consumers increasingly exploring convenient, flavour-led formats. According to IWSR, India’s ready-to-drink category is projected to grow at a 6 per cent compound annual growth rate through 2034.
BuzzBallz said it plans to expand into more cities and states, building on its early momentum as it seeks to make its colourful, flavour-forward format a bigger part of India’s growing ready-to-drink market.
