OOH advertising major posts Rs 24 crore PAT and announces 5 per cent dividend
MUMBAI: Bright Outdoor Media Limited has illuminated the financial markets with a robust set of annual results, proving that the demand for high-impact advertising remains stronger than ever. In a board meeting held on 11th May 2026, the directors approved the audited financial statements for the year ending 31st March 2026, revealing significant growth across all key metrics.
The company’s revenue from operations saw a substantial increase, climbing to Rs 153.03 crore, compared to Rs 126.75 crore in the previous fiscal year. Total income, which includes other revenue streams, reached Rs 155.43 crore.
The most striking figure in the report was the net profit. Bright Outdoor Media recorded a profit after tax of Rs 24.05 crore, representing a 26 per cent increase over the Rs 19.07 crore reported in 2025. This growth comes despite a total tax expense of Rs 8.30 crore for the year.
In a move to reward its backers, the Board has recommended a 5 per cent dividend, amounting to Rs 0.50 per equity share. This proposal is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
The company also strengthened its oversight by appointing Mr. Prakash Dilip Ghanekar as Internal Auditor for the 2026-27 financial year. Mr. Ghanekar, a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in finance and accounts, is expected to bring further rigour to the company’s internal controls.
While the core media and advertising business remains the primary driver, generating Rs 146.62 crore, the company’s real estate segment showed remarkable growth. Revenue from real estate jumped from Rs 1.34 crore last year to Rs 6.41 crore in 2026.
The company’s balance sheet reflects this expansionary phase:
Total assets: Increased to Rs 221.09 crore from Rs 187.69 crore.
Earnings per share (EPS): Rose to Rs 12.26.
Reserves and surplus: Now stands at Rs 163.74 crore.
Cash position: The company maintained a healthy cash and bank balance of Rs 4.19 crore at year-end.
As India’s first listed OOH (Out-of-Home) media company, Bright Outdoor Media appears well-positioned to maintain its upward trajectory in the competitive advertising landscape.
