Billu Salon promises doorstep grooming within 30 minutes across Delhi-NCR
Instant bookings contribute over 50 per cent of appointments as the at-home salon service provider eyes metro expansion
NEW DELHI: Bad hair day? Billu Salon wants to cut the wait, not corners. The at-home grooming service promises to send trained professionals to customers’ doorsteps within 30 minutes of an instant booking across Delhi-NCR.
The company says instant appointments already account for more than 50 per cent of its bookings, prompting it to sharpen its focus on on-demand salon services. It plans to expand into other metropolitan cities, targeting consumers who want professional grooming without the commute or the wait.
Billu Salon’s service model is built around local hubs located roughly five kilometres apart, supported by a network of hundreds of professionals. The company says this setup helps match customers with nearby service providers. An appointment typically takes about an hour, depending on the treatment.
The pitch is convenience with salon-style standards at home. Billu Salon caters to both men and women, with trained professionals following standard operating procedures for service delivery and hygiene.
“We have noticed high demand for instant salon services. That’s why we started Billu Instant Salon at Home to make it accessible. We serve the grooming needs of both men and women,” said Billu Salon founder Nilesh Kothari.
The company says its professionals are trained to maintain hygiene and deliver a consistent experience in customers’ homes.
With instant bookings contributing more than half its business, Billu Salon is betting that consumers would rather have the salon come to them than wait for a slot. Its next challenge will be to take that promise beyond Delhi-NCR without losing the speed that sets the service apart.
