BCT Ventures launches AI-native consumer brands platform, raises Rs 42 crore
Seed funding from 3one4 Capital will fuel AI-driven nutrition and wellness brands
MUMBAI: BCT Ventures is betting that the next generation of consumer brands will be built as much by algorithms as entrepreneurs. The newly launched company has emerged from stealth as India’s first AI-native consumer brands platform and has raised Rs 42 crore in a seed funding round led by 3one4 Capital.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen BCT Ventures’ three proprietary AI engines, Nucleus, Resonance and Meridian, which together power product development, practitioner-led distribution and AI-driven growth. The company will initially focus on the fast-growing nutrition and wellness segment before expanding into other consumer categories.
Founded by Kashyap Vadapalli, KV Ravi Shekhar and Anubhav Sonthalia, BCT Ventures combines expertise in consumer brands, digital growth, mergers and acquisitions, and technology-led businesses. The founding team has previously worked with companies including Google, eBay, Pepperfry, Doubtnut, Vedantu, WPP, Sokrati and Dentsu.
The platform is built around three AI-powered systems. Resonance identifies emerging consumer trends and builds practitioner-led audiences, Nucleus converts those insights into protocol-based products, while Meridian uses AI to optimise creative testing, media buying, budget allocation and return on advertising spend. Together, the engines create a continuous feedback loop that helps refine future products and accelerate brand growth.
The company believes India’s nutrition and wellness market is at an inflection point, with consumers increasingly seeking preventive healthcare solutions and expert-backed products instead of generic offerings.
Explaining the vision behind the business, BCT Ventures co-founder Kashyap Vadapalli said, “Every generation of technology has changed how consumer businesses operate. Digital transformed distribution, data transformed decision-making, and AI will transform how brands are conceived, built and scaled. BCT Ventures is built on this belief.”
BCT Ventures co-founder KV Ravi Shekhar said the ability to understand customer needs and execute quickly has always been the foundation of successful consumer companies. He added that AI enables both at a much larger scale, allowing the company to rethink how brands are created, validated and expanded.
Highlighting the platform’s operating model, BCT Ventures co-founder Anubhav Sonthalia said the company has developed an AI-native system that supports decision-making across every stage of the brand-building process, from identifying market opportunities to launching and scaling products.
Backing the venture, 3one4 Capital investment team member Anand Batra said, “BCT Ventures is building a new operating model for consumer brand creation, where AI is embedded across insight, product development, distribution and growth from day one.”
He added that the founding team combines consumer demand generation, operational expertise and venture-building experience that positions the company to create category-leading brands in nutrition and wellness before expanding into adjacent sectors.
With AI increasingly reshaping the consumer products landscape, BCT Ventures is aiming to prove that technology can do more than market products. It can help invent them, refine them and scale them from the ground up.
