Ashrayu Media to launch SPH Media’s flagship lifestyle magazines in India
Singapore publisher expands into India with lifestyle and business titles across print and digital
MUMBAI: Turning a new page in its international growth story, Singapore-based SPH Media has partnered with Hyderabad-based Ashrayu Media Private Limited to launch F ZINE India and The Peak India, marking the first overseas expansion of F ZINE and the India debut of The Peak.
The licensing agreement brings two of SPH Media’s flagship lifestyle brands to one of the world’s fastest-growing publishing markets through a multi-platform strategy spanning print, digital and experiential platforms. The partnership also expands SPH Media’s international footprint while strengthening Ashrayu Media’s presence in India’s evolving media landscape.
F ZINE, which has chronicled youth culture in Singapore since 1974, will target India’s growing base of young, affluent readers with a mix of fashion, culture, entertainment and social commentary. Meanwhile, The Peak, launched in Singapore in 1984, will cater to business leaders, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth readers with editorial focused on leadership, luxury, wealth and innovation.
Ashrayu Media said the collaboration reflects the growing cultural and aesthetic links between India and Southeast Asia, with both publications aiming to combine international perspectives with India’s rapidly evolving lifestyle, fashion, business and cultural landscape.
As part of the launch, Tracy Ann has been appointed editor-in-chief of F ZINE India. A veteran lifestyle and entertainment journalist, she has previously worked across several leading Indian print and digital media brands.
The first issue of F ZINE India is scheduled for publication in the final quarter of 2026, with The Peak India expected to follow shortly afterwards.
According to the companies, the launch comes at a time when India’s luxury market is being reshaped by globally connected consumers seeking quality, authenticity and purpose-driven storytelling. The publications will focus on original reporting, long-form features and curated narratives that connect global trends with Indian audiences.
The partnership also reflects the growing interest among international media companies in India’s expanding premium publishing market, as rising disposable incomes and changing consumer preferences drive demand for specialised lifestyle and business content.
