Arushi Goswami joins WPP Media as Director of Analytics
Media and revenue strategist brings cross-sector experience to new role
MUMBAI: For Arushi Goswami, the numbers have done the talking and they’ve now opened the door to a bigger leadership role. WPP Media has appointed Goswami as Director of Analytics, adding a seasoned media and revenue strategist to its leadership ranks as agencies place increasing emphasis on data-led decision-making and measurable business outcomes. The appointment marks the latest chapter in a career that has traversed media, advertising and financial services, giving Goswami a front-row seat to the evolving relationship between audience insights, revenue growth and brand strategy.
Before joining WPP Media, she served as manager and channel lead at JioStar, where she worked across analytics and media strategy. Her career journey also includes leadership roles as Revenue Head at Mirchi and Retail Head-Manager at Zee Unimedia, alongside stints at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India) and the Times Group.
Beyond media, Goswami has built experience in the financial services sector through roles at JM Financial’s Private Wealth Group and ICICI Securities, giving her exposure to customer engagement, relationship management and business growth across industries.
Over the years, she has developed expertise spanning analytics, media investment planning, full-funnel media strategy, revenue management and client growth, a combination that reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of modern marketing.
Her appointment comes at a time when agencies are doubling down on analytics capabilities as brands seek sharper audience intelligence, stronger attribution models and more accountable media investments.
As data continues to move from the back office to the boardroom, Goswami’s elevation signals WPP Media’s focus on turning insights into impact and ensuring that every number tells a bigger story.
