Acer launches Swift Neo AI laptop in India starting at ₹67,999

MUMBAI: Light on its feet, heavy on the workload. Acer has launched the Swift Neo AI laptop in India, combining AI-focused performance with a lightweight design aimed at professionals, students, creators and everyday multitaskers.

Available through Flipkart, Acer E-store and other channels, the Swift Neo starts at ₹67,999. The laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 H Gaming-Grade Processors, with Intel AI Boost built into the processor for AI-enabled productivity, collaboration and creative applications.

The machine can be configured with up to 32GB LPDDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage, positioning it for workloads ranging from multitasking and content creation to entertainment and everyday computing.

The Swift Neo features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display with an optional OLED panel on select models. The display has a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1920 × 1200 resolution and up to 300 nits brightness, while its narrow bezels maximise the available screen space.

Portability is another major part of the pitch. The laptop weighs just 1.25kg and measures 17.2mm in thickness, with a metal top and bottom cover. A 180-degree hinge, backlit keyboard, precision touchpad and integrated fingerprint reader add to its everyday usability.

For connectivity, the Swift Neo comes with two full-function USB Type-C ports supporting charging, high-speed data transfer and display output. It also supports 65W USB Type-C fast charging, alongside HDMI and multiple USB ports.

Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6, while a Full HD 1080p webcam is designed for video calls and online collaboration. Dual speakers cater to communication and entertainment.

The laptop runs Windows 11 Home with Microsoft Copilot, bringing AI assistance into the operating system alongside the processor’s Intel AI Boost capabilities.

A 52Wh battery and 65W USB Type-C fast charging round out the hardware, with Acer positioning the machine for hybrid work, learning and mobile productivity.

Commenting on the launch, Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer, Acer India, said the Swift Neo brings together “intelligent performance, premium design, and effortless portability”, adding that the company expects the device to appeal to professionals, students and creators.

With a starting price of ₹67,999, the Swift Neo gives Acer another entry into India’s increasingly crowded AI-laptop market, with the company betting on a combination of AI capabilities, sub-1.5kg portability and premium design rather than performance alone.
