Acer, Intel, Infinity Learn launch NEET Ready laptop for CBT era

MUMBAI: Pens may soon take a back seat as keyboards prepare to write the next chapter of India’s biggest medical entrance exam. With NEET set to transition to a Computer-Based Test (CBT) from 2027, Acer, Intel and Infinity Learn have joined hands to launch what they describe as India’s first integrated NEET Ready Ecosystem, designed to help aspirants prepare for both the exam and its digital format.

The partnership’s first offering is the NEET Ready Laptop, which combines Acer’s Aspire series laptops powered by Intel processors with Infinity Learn’s AI-driven preparation platform. The solution aims to equip students with digital familiarity alongside academic preparation as the country’s largest undergraduate medical entrance examination moves online.

The collaboration addresses a key challenge posed by the shift to CBT. Every year, more than 22 lakh students appear for NEET, while nearly 70 per cent of aspirants come from Tier 2, Tier 3 and rural India, where access to personal computing devices remains uneven.

The integrated learning ecosystem comes pre-loaded with Infinity Learn’s preparation tools, including the Infinity Learn app, AI Mentor AINA, live and recorded classes, curated study material, adaptive chapter-wise practice, mock tests, detailed performance analytics and personalised recommendations. Students will also be able to experience a NEET CBT simulation that mirrors the expected digital examination environment, complete with timed assessments and performance benchmarking.

The initiative reflects a broader shift in India’s education technology landscape, where digital readiness is becoming as important as subject knowledge. As high-stakes examinations increasingly adopt computer-based formats, technology companies and edtech platforms are seeking to bridge the gap between learning and digital test-taking.

The partners say the ecosystem is intended to help students build confidence with computer-based examinations well before the actual test, reducing unfamiliarity with the format while improving preparation through AI-powered learning and analytics.

The Acer Aspire laptops are powered by Intel processors and are designed to support AI-assisted learning, content consumption and examination simulations. Alongside traditional study resources, students gain access to tools for research, practice and continuous performance tracking within a single platform.

The integrated solution will be available exclusively on Flipkart, with EMIs starting at Rs 2,500 per month, as the partners seek to make digital examination readiness more accessible ahead of NEET’s transition to CBT in 2027.
