Tejas Networks appoints COO Preetham Uthaiah as senior management personnel
Board approves designation with immediate effect under SEBI disclosure regulations
Bengaluru: Tejas Networks has strengthened its leadership bench with a regulatory appointment. The telecom equipment maker has designated its chief operating officer, Preetham Uthaiah, as a senior management personnel (SMP) with immediate effect.
Tejas Networks informed stock exchanges that its board of directors approved the appointment at its meeting held on July 27, 2026, in accordance with Regulation 30 read with Para A (7) of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The appointment takes effect immediately and forms part of the company’s compliance with SEBI’s disclosure requirements for listed entities. Tejas Networks said the relevant details have also been uploaded to its corporate website.
According to the company, Preetham Uthaiah brings extensive experience in the telecommunications and high technology sectors, with hands-on expertise across a broad range of technologies.
Before joining Tejas Networks, Uthaiah worked at Saankhya Labs. Earlier in his career, he held several technical and leadership positions in India and the United States, including serving as vice president at Tech Mahindra.
The company clarified that disclosure relating to relationships between directors was not applicable, as the appointment does not involve the induction of a director to the board.
The regulatory filing was signed by Anantha Murthy N, company secretary and compliance officer of Tejas Networks. The appointment comes as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team while expanding its telecom and next-generation network business.
