ShemarooMe to premiere Gujarati family drama Jindagi Once More on September 17
Film marks first Gujarati title presented under Dharma Productions and explores family bonds
MUMBAI: ShemarooMe, the OTT platform from Shemaroo Entertainment, is set to premiere Gujarati family drama Jindagi Once More exclusively on 17 September.
The film follows a son who sets out to rediscover his father’s past and, in the process, uncovers a side of him he had never known. Blending family, friendship and emotional discovery, the film explores the stories and experiences that often remain hidden across generations.
Jindagi Once More also marks the first Gujarati film presented under the Dharma Productions banner, adding to the growing visibility of regional storytelling.
The association comes as Gujarati cinema continues to reach audiences beyond its traditional markets, while ShemarooMe expands its regional entertainment offering with stories rooted in local language, culture and emotional sensibilities.
Shemaroo Entertainment chief operating officer, digital business Saurabh Srivastava said, “We believe Gujarati content is entering an exciting phase of growth. Audiences are increasingly open to stories rooted in their culture, while digital platforms are enabling these stories to travel across markets.”
He added that Gujarati content remains central to ShemarooMe’s regional strategy, with the platform focused on building an ecosystem for authentic stories and talent.
Jindagi Once More will stream exclusively on ShemarooMe from 17 September.
