MUMBAI: As streaming platforms look beyond sheer content volume to stand out, ShemarooMe is adding another title to its originals slate with Dil Padosi, a six-episode Hindi relationship drama premiering on 15 October 2026 under its Shemaroo Premiere banner.
Starring Nyrraa M Banerji, Jai Talwar, Shivaani M Singh and Pranav Kumaarr, the series is set in a small-town colony where romance, emotional conflict and unconventional relationships collide. Its narrative follows characters negotiating attraction, complicated equations and bonds that challenge conventional definitions of relationships.
The launch marks another step in Shemaroo Entertainment’s strategy to build a distinctive original programming portfolio, with character-led stories and genre-focused formats designed to give the platform a sharper identity in an increasingly crowded OTT market.
With viewers spoilt for choice, streaming services are under pressure to offer programming that gives audiences a reason to return.
