Forget the catalogue: Kraus Jeans launches a micro-drama series on Instagram

The women’s denim brand launches Denims & Delusions, a six-episode Instagram show built around the girl math, changing-room chaos and best-friend banter of everyday shopping

MUMBAI: Forget the mood board. Kraus Jeans is making television now, sort of. The Mumbai-based women’s apparel and denim brand has launched Denims & Delusions, its first entertainment-led digital content series, going live on Instagram in the first week of June 2026. It is a six-episode micro-drama set entirely inside a Kraus showroom in Mumbai, and it is not trying to sell you a pair of jeans so much as make you laugh about the experience of buying one.

The show mines the comic and emotional territory that surrounds women’s shopping with sharp specificity: situationship dressing, girl math shopping logic, office burnout, creator culture, fashion dilemmas and the kind of unfiltered best-friend commentary that every woman recognises from a changing room on a Saturday afternoon. The narratives draw from real audience observations and retail experiences, lightly fictionalising moments that feel less scripted than simply accurate.

Ravi Punjabi, founder of Kraus Jeans, said the idea came from recognising that fashion has always been about more than what people wear. “It is also about emotions, confidence, hesitation, excitement, and the little moments that happen around getting dressed,” he said. “With Denims & Delusions, we wanted to create something rooted in experiences our audience would instantly recognise, moments many women have lived through in stores, changing rooms, friendships, and everyday conversations.”

Punjabi was clear that while the format sits within the growing micro-drama space, the real ambition is something more durable: a culturally relevant and consistent way to engage with the brand’s community through entertaining and relatable storytelling rather than conventional advertising.

The first six episodes are live now on Kraus Jeans’ Instagram handle at @kraus_jeans, with a further slate of episodes currently in development.

The changing room has always been where the real conversations happen. Kraus Jeans has simply decided to put a camera in there.
