Excitel Broadband brings back Aditya Jain as chief marketing officer
Former marketing head returns as broadband provider looks to accelerate brand-led growth
NEW DELHI: Homecoming has a new connection. Excitel Broadband has reappointed Aditya Jain as its chief marketing officer, bringing back its former marketing head to steer the broadband provider’s next phase of brand and business growth.
Jain, who previously led Excitel’s marketing function between 2022 and 2024, rejoins the company with immediate effect from July 2026. His appointment comes as the internet service provider looks to strengthen its market position following a profitable financial year.
As chief marketing officer, Jain will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, with responsibility for brand building, customer acquisition, customer retention and consumer engagement. He will also focus on shaping customer experiences as Excitel expands its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network across India.
The executive brings more than two decades of marketing experience spanning consumer and healthcare sectors. Before returning to Excitel, he held leadership roles at Godfrey Phillips India, Pfizer and VST Industries.
Announcing the appointment, Excitel Broadband chief executive officer Varun Pasricha said Jain’s familiarity with both the company and India’s broadband market makes him well placed to support Excitel’s long-term ambitions.
Pasricha said Jain possesses a strong understanding of the brand’s identity and future aspirations, adding that his expertise will help accelerate Excitel’s transformation and national growth strategy.
Speaking on his return, Aditya Jain described the move as a continuation of a journey rather than a fresh start.
Jain said he had witnessed the brand’s evolution first-hand and believed the combination of performance and purpose had been central to its success. He added that he looked forward to working with the team to build on the company’s momentum, strengthen customer relationships and unlock new growth opportunities.
The appointment follows a strong financial performance for Excitel. In FY26, the company turned both EBITDA and net profit positive, reporting revenue of Rs 530 crore and a profit of Rs 40 crore, translating into a PAT margin of 8 per cent.
With profitability achieved and network expansion continuing, Excitel is now looking to sharpen its brand positioning, and Jain’s return signals the company’s intent to pair operational growth with stronger consumer engagement as competition intensifies in India’s broadband market.
