DELHI: You could say curiosity just got a new high-score board. Amit Sharma, creator of the popular science experimentation channel Crazy XYZ, has launched a new skill-gaming platform called Crazinos, designed to turn everyday curiosity and experiments into competitive digital challenges for young users in India.

The app has been co-founded by Sharma along with Gaurav Gularia, former chief of staff at Physics Wallah, and builds on the experimental learning ecosystem already associated with Crazy XYZ.

Positioned at the intersection of gaming, learning and participation, Crazinos offers users daily challenges, tournaments and leaderboard-based competitions focused on logic, reasoning, observation and problem-solving rather than formal academic instruction.

Users engage with edutainment-style video challenges before participating in interactive gameplay, with the format designed to encourage curiosity-led learning and skill development aligned with broader shifts towards competency-based education.

The platform, which began as an extension of STEM kits and smart toys inspired by Crazy XYZ content, now brings that ecosystem fully into a digital environment, allowing users to compete and learn anytime while still connecting with physical learning products.

According to the company, Crazinos has already crossed 4,00,000 downloads and 2,60,000 registered users, entering the Top 30 in Google Play’s Education category and ranking as high as #28 in trending charts within a week of launch.

Speaking on the launch, Crazinos co-founder Amit Sharma, said the platform builds on years of audience engagement around experiments and curiosity-driven content, adding that the app transforms that energy into a daily competitive experience for young users.

With strong early traction and a growing user base, Crazinos is positioning itself as a new entrant in India’s evolving edutainment and skill-based gaming landscape.
