The bill outlines the lawful collection, processing and protection of private data.
SEBI had filed an application on 24 July for modification in the SAT.
The development comes almost a month after SEBI issued an interim order on 12 June.
As per Zee management the case was disposed of where Zee was remotely connected.
According to media reports, Goenka and Chandra will be filing a reply in SEBI in two weeks.
