éntisi launches Harry Potter inspired premium chocolate range in India
Licensed collection starts at Rs 129 and arrives on Blinkit from 28 July
MUMBAI: The magic isn’t just in the wand anymore, it has found its way into the chocolate box. Premium chocolatier éntisi has teamed up with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch an officially licensed Harry Potter-inspired chocolate collection in India, marking the brand’s entry into the licensed confectionery segment.
The range, which goes on sale from 28 July, blends premium chocolates with collectible packaging inspired by the Harry Potter films, as the company looks to tap India’s growing appetite for themed merchandise and premium gifting.
Priced from Rs 129, the collection will be available through éntisi’s boutiques in Mumbai and Pune, its dark stores across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bengaluru, the company’s website, and exclusively on quick commerce platform Blinkit.
The launch has been timed to build momentum towards Harry Potter’s birthday on 31 July, a date expected to drive interest among fans, collectors and gifting customers.
The debut collection features chocolates inspired by some of the franchise’s best-known treats, including Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Chocolates, Chocolate Frogs, Hogwarts House Chocolates, and the Platform 9¾ Hogwarts Express Bar.
Rather than simply licensing the branding, éntisi has recreated the products using custom-designed chocolate moulds, while the packaging draws directly from the visual identity of the films. Each pack also includes a keepsake collector’s card, encouraging buyers to complete a full themed collection.
The collaboration marks a strategic expansion for éntisi, which views licensed chocolates as a long-term growth opportunity alongside its premium confectionery business.
Founded by Nikki Thakker, the chocolatier plans to deepen its presence in Delhi and Bengaluru over the coming year. Its broader five-year strategy includes expanding retail outlets across India, strengthening its presence at international airports, increasing availability through quick commerce platforms and introducing additional Harry Potter-inspired seasonal collections.
The partnership also reflects a broader trend reshaping India’s premium consumer market, where entertainment franchises are increasingly extending beyond screens into food, fashion and lifestyle products. As fandom-driven merchandising gains traction, brands are betting that storytelling can be just as powerful a selling point as taste, turning chocolates into collectibles as much as confectionery.
