Times Network appoints OneXtel as strategic alliance partner for digital IPs
New strategic alliance partner brought in to widen reach of branded content across business, health and policy platforms
NEW DELHI: Times Network has gone shopping for firepower on the digital IP front, and landed OneXtel Communication Media. The Times Group broadcaster has named the OneXtel Ltd division its strategic alliance partner for digital intellectual properties across India, a deal aimed squarely at beefing up its branded content and experiential platforms in business, healthcare, real estate, education, policy and industry engagement.
Times Network was in no mood for understatement, calling OneXtel a partner that brings deep industry relationships and a sharp read on an ever-shifting market. The broadcaster said finding allies who share its appetite for innovation and growth was crucial as it scales its digital IP ecosystem, with the tie-up pitched as a way to create greater value for brands and stakeholders while widening the reach of its flagship initiatives.
Under the arrangement, OneXtel Communication Media will work hand in glove with Times Network’s digital and IP division to drive strategic partnerships, alliance integration, ecosystem engagement and industry outreach, and to push flagship branded properties into new markets.
Md. Rizvi, founder and chairman of OneXtel Communication Media, was equally chipper about the tie-up, calling it a shared bet on building platforms that pull together brands, business leaders, policymakers, institutions and change-makers, with ambitions to strengthen and scale these initiatives nationally.
Between Times Network’s editorial muscle and expansive media footprint, and OneXtel’s industry access and alliance network, the two are betting the partnership delivers on both digital and on-ground fronts, hunting for fresh growth avenues and deeper partner participation as they go. Whether the alliance moves the needle or simply adds another logo to the roster remains to be seen, but the ambition, at least, is not in short supply.
