BBH India appoints Deb Dutta as executive director & head of office, Mumbai
Former McCann leader joins as executive director to strengthen client partnerships and creativity
MUMBAI: BBH India is adding fresh firepower to its Mumbai leadership. The advertising agency has appointed Deb Dutta as executive director and head of its Mumbai office as it looks to accelerate growth and deepen client relationships.
Dutta will report to Himanshu Saxena, managing director of BBH India and president for North and East at Saatchi & Saatchi India and Propagate India.
In his new role, Dutta will work with the agency’s leadership team to expand the business, strengthen existing client partnerships and further enhance BBH India’s focus on creative excellence, effectiveness and business transformation.
Bringing more than two decades of experience, Dutta joins from McCann Worldgroup, where he most recently led the Mumbai office. During his career, he has also held senior leadership positions across markets with RAPP, TBWA and Publicis Groupe in Malaysia, Indonesia and India.
At RAPP Malaysia, he built an integrated creative business by bringing together content, customer relationship marketing, personalisation, digital, social media and technology capabilities supported by data and analytics.

He added that Dutta’s experience in building integrated businesses and his ability to develop client relationships and high-performing teams make him well suited to strengthen the agency’s “Power of One” model.

He noted that Dutta’s experience across the full marketing funnel and his creative approach align closely with BBH’s “Zag” philosophy.
