L’Oréal Paris teams with Shark Tank India to boost women entrepreneurship
Partnership offers aspiring entrepreneurs early access to mentorship, investment and national exposure
MUMBAI: L’Oréal Paris is giving women entrepreneurs a head start. The beauty brand has partnered with Shark Tank India to launch an exclusive early application window for women founders, offering them priority access to one of India’s most influential startup platforms.
The initiative, announced on 2 July, allows aspiring women entrepreneurs to apply for the upcoming season of the show before applications open to the general public. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to the show’s panel of investors while gaining access to mentorship, potential funding and nationwide visibility.
The collaboration between L’Oréal Paris and Sony LIV is aimed at encouraging greater participation from women-led businesses by making entrepreneurial opportunities more accessible.
Built around L’Oréal Paris’ long-standing “I’m Worth It” philosophy, the initiative seeks to address barriers such as self-doubt, social conditioning and fear of judgement that often discourage women from pursuing entrepreneurial ambitions.
To promote the campaign, L’Oréal Paris and Shark Tank India have released a campaign film on Sony LIV. The film portrays women hesitating to chase their business dreams before encouraging them to step forward and apply for the programme.
According to the companies, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to increasing women’s representation in India’s startup ecosystem by creating stronger pathways to capital, mentorship and business growth.
Applications through the exclusive window for women entrepreneurs will remain open from 2 July to 11 July 2026. Selected candidates will progress through the Shark Tank India selection process for a chance to present their businesses before the investors featured on the show.
Supporting the initiative behind the scenes, WPP Media served as the strategic media partner, developing platform-first integrations designed to reinforce L’Oréal Paris’ message of empowering women entrepreneurs.
By combining the reach of one of India’s biggest beauty brands with the country’s most recognisable startup television platform, the initiative aims to help more women move from business idea to boardroom, proving that confidence can be just as valuable as capital.
