Simba Beer marks 10 years with launch of new Wild variant
New brew rolls out in Delhi, Karnataka and Assam as brand expands portfolio
MUMBAI: A decade after making its first pour, Simba is uncapping a fresh chapter. Simba Beer has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Simba Wild, a new beer introduced as the brand celebrates 10 years in the Indian market and looks to strengthen its presence among consumers seeking lighter, more approachable brews.
The latest addition is positioned as a balanced, easy-drinking beer, featuring a light golden appearance, subtle hop aromas and mild malty notes. The company says the new variant is designed to offer a crisp finish while maintaining the flavour profile that has become synonymous with the Simba brand.
The launch comes as India’s premium beer segment continues to evolve, with brewers broadening their portfolios to cater to changing consumer preferences and demand for differentiated drinking experiences.
Over the past decade, Simba has built a range spanning multiple beer styles, with an emphasis on flavour-led offerings. The company said Simba Wild reflects its continued focus on innovation while appealing to consumers looking for a beer that balances character with drinkability.
The new variant will initially be available across Delhi, Karnataka and Assam, adding to Simba’s growing presence in key markets.
The launch also follows the brand’s recent international recognition at the World Beer Awards 2025, where Simba Wit and Simba Stout received honours, adding momentum to its product expansion strategy.
Beyond brewing, Simba has also invested in culture-led initiatives such as Simba Uproar, First Time with Simba, Simba Garage and Simba Wagwan, using music, community events and creative collaborations to strengthen its brand identity.
With Simba Wild, the brewer is not only marking its 10-year milestone but also signalling its intent to broaden its appeal as competition intensifies across India’s premium beer market.
