Agency to lead integrated campaigns as Del Monte sharpens consumer engagement in India

MUMBAI: Fresh ideas are joining the menu. Creativeland Asia (CLA) Delhi has secured the creative mandate for Del Monte India after a multi-agency evaluation, adding another marquee food brand to its portfolio as competition intensifies in India’s packaged foods market.

Under the mandate, CLA will handle integrated brand and product communications, developing a strategic creative platform and campaigns across Del Monte India’s key product categories. The partnership is aimed at strengthening the brand’s positioning, deepening consumer engagement and reinforcing its food heritage in an increasingly competitive market. The agency will focus on creating communication that builds stronger consumer affinity while highlighting Del Monte’s expertise across its portfolio. The account spans brand-building as well as product-led campaigns designed to connect with evolving consumer preferences.

Commenting on the win, Mayur Chandra, Chief Business Officer, Creativeland Asia, said Del Monte combines a strong global legacy with contemporary relevance. He noted that as India’s food culture continues to evolve, consumers are increasingly seeking brands that inspire creativity in the kitchen while making everyday meals more enjoyable. He added that the agency sees an opportunity to build culturally relevant narratives around product excellence and culinary expertise.

For Del Monte India, the appointment comes as brands increasingly rely on integrated storytelling to stand out in a crowded packaged foods category, where consumer expectations continue to shift towards relevance, authenticity and everyday utility.

Creativeland Asia DGM for marketing for Del Monte Foods Kiranpreet Kaur said demonstrated a strong understanding of the brand’s vision and category dynamics during the evaluation process. She added that the company looks forward to working with the agency to build impactful brand stories that resonate with Indian consumers.

The mandate strengthens Creativeland Asia’s presence in the FMCG and food categories while giving Del Monte India a new creative partner as it enters its next phase of brand building.
