BENGALURU: Bodycraft is giving itself a fresh makeover, and this one comes with a Rs 120 crore price tag. Bodycraft Clinics and Salons, one of India’s largest integrated clinic-and-salon operators, has raised Rs 120 crore from growth-stage investor Singularity AMC to accelerate its next phase of expansion across the country.

The funding will help the company expand its footprint, strengthen its clinical capabilities and invest in technology as India’s beauty, wellness and medical aesthetics sectors continue to gather momentum.

The transaction was advised by Quest Profin Advisors Pvt. Ltd. as exclusive investment banker, while ALMT Legal served as legal counsel.

Bodycraft currently operates 67 premium wellness centres, clinics and salons nationwide. With the fresh capital in hand, the company plans to add 30 new locations, taking its integrated beauty and healthcare model into more cities. The funds will also be directed towards advanced clinical equipment, AI-driven operational improvements, management strengthening and enhancing customer experience across the network.

The company’s story began nearly three decades ago when founder Manjul Gupta opened a single salon in Bengaluru. Over the years, the business evolved into a multi-city wellness and aesthetics platform. The family-led enterprise expanded further after Swati Gupta joined in the early 2000s, followed by Sahil Gupta, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, in 2011.

Under Sahil Gupta’s leadership, Bodycraft has broadened its presence across both salon and clinical services, while its medical aesthetics business has been spearheaded by Mikki Singh, a board-certified dermatologist and founder and medical director since 2015.

“This fundraise marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bodycraft,” said Bodycraft Clinics and Salons chief executive officer Sahil Gupta. “The capital from Singularity will enable us to accelerate expansion, deepen our clinical and technological capabilities, and continue investing in the talent and infrastructure required to build a category-leading business. Our ambition is to create the most trusted destination for beauty, wellness and medical aesthetic services in India.”

Bodycraft Clinics and Salons founder and medical director Mikki Singh said the investment would support the company’s ambition to remain at the forefront of emerging treatments and technologies.

“Our ambition has always been to build the finest outcome-first practice in the country, and this fundraise from Singularity brings us meaningfully closer to that,” she said. “Whether it is emerging frontiers in longevity or regenerative therapies, we aspire to be the first to bring what is new and proven to our patrons.”

For Singularity AMC, the investment is a vote of confidence in a business model that combines beauty services and medical aesthetics under one roof.

“We have been very impressed with how the Bodycraft team has thoughtfully built out both the clinic and salon businesses over the last few years,” said Singularity AMC co-chief investment officer Sandeep Bapat. “The hybrid model of clinics and salons under one roof is differentiated, and Bodycraft has successfully executed it at scale.”

The funding comes as India’s beauty and wellness industry enjoys robust growth. Industry estimates suggest the country’s clinical aesthetics market could expand from around US$2 billion in 2024 to more than US$7 billion by 2033, while the broader beauty and personal care market is expected to grow from roughly US$27 billion in FY25 to nearly US$39 billion by FY30.

As consumers increasingly spend on wellness, skincare and specialised aesthetic treatments, Bodycraft is betting that the next growth wave will be driven by a blend of beauty, medicine and technology. With fresh capital and ambitious expansion plans, the company is aiming to ensure its growth story remains more than skin deep.
