Naukri.com elevates Ankit Apurv to vice president
IIT Kharagpur alumnus takes charge of growth and performance marketing strategy
NOIDA: From startup scrums to scale-up strategy, Ankit Apurv’s marketing journey has clicked into a new gear. Naukri.com has elevated Ankit Apurv to the role of vice president, marking a key leadership move within one of India’s largest job platforms.
Apurv announced the development on LinkedIn, noting that his 10-year career milestone aligns with his new responsibility leading broader strategic ownership across growth and performance marketing at Naukri.com.
He said the transition comes after years of working across both fast-scaling startups and established organisations, adding that the fundamentals of marketing remain constant: understanding customers, respecting data, and building products worth marketing.
In his post, he also thanked senior leaders Shail Gaurav and Sumeet Singh for their guidance and trust, highlighting the importance of early ownership and leadership support in his career progression.
Apurv has spent nearly four years with Naukri.com and its parent organisation Info Edge, steadily rising through multiple roles. He joined in September 2022 as lead – digital marketing, was promoted to associate vice president in May 2024, and has now moved into the vice president position in June 2026.
Before joining Naukri.com, he served as head of digital marketing at Gaana in 2022, where he worked on scaling digital growth initiatives.
Earlier, he spent nearly three years at Housing.com, where he was part of the team credited with improving platform traffic and managing end-to-end digital marketing spends across performance and brand channels.
His career also includes brief stints at Pristyn Care and PeeSafe, where he worked on digital marketing and growth strategies.
Academically, Apurv holds an Integrated MSc in Economics from IIT Kharagpur, where he was selected through the highly competitive IIT-JEE route.
With this elevation, Naukri.com strengthens its digital marketing leadership as it continues to sharpen its growth strategy in India’s competitive online recruitment space.
