NEW DELHI: Lights, camera, automation. As artificial intelligence continues to reshape content creation, IndieVisual is betting that marketers want more than a video generator. They want a complete production partner.

The company has unveiled dAIrector, an AI-powered ad film production platform designed to take a marketing brief and transform it into a finished, production-grade advertising film in a matter of hours rather than weeks. The system is currently being rolled out through an early access programme for selected organisations.

Unlike many AI video tools that focus on generating short clips from text prompts, dAIrector has been built specifically for brand and marketing teams. Users begin by submitting a strategic brief containing campaign objectives, audience information, brand guidelines and existing brand assets. The platform then guides the process through strategy development, script creation, visual direction and video generation, while allowing users to remain involved throughout.

According to the company, the platform is designed to create campaign-ready films that maintain brand consistency across multiple formats, languages and creative variants. The goal is to help businesses produce scalable advertising content without the lengthy timelines typically associated with traditional production processes.

“Every AI video tool starts with a prompt. dAIrector starts with a brief,” said IndieVisual co-founder Prashanth Naik. “That distinction is critical. Brand teams don’t need another clip generation tool. They need a production system to make complete professional ad films. And yes, not simply eight-second performance clips. They need full-length ad films with consistent, locked characters and settings.”

The launch represents the culmination of IndieVisual’s five-year journey in video production. Since its founding in 2021, the company says it has produced more than 2,000 videos for over 200 brands across 50 cities and 10 languages. The experience gained from managing large-scale productions has now been embedded into the new platform’s workflow and decision-making systems.

The company notes that production intelligence developed through projects for brands including Philips, Crompton, Zydus and DSP Mutual Fund has informed the development of dAIrector.

Early access to the platform is available to enterprises, growth-stage companies and agencies, with organisations able to use the service directly or through a managed studio model.

As AI continues its march into creative industries, the battle is increasingly shifting from generating content to managing entire workflows. With dAIrector, IndieVisual is positioning itself not as a maker of clips, but as the director behind the digital camera, aiming to make professional ad filmmaking faster, more scalable and far more accessible.
