Zee-backed BULLET launches AI platform Trinetra for micro drama creators
Trinetra AI, backed by Zee Entertainment’s content intelligence, uses three proprietary engines to take a story from idea to localised, commercial-ready production
MUMBAI: The micro drama boom has a new weapon. BULLET, the short-form vertical storytelling platform backed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises, has launched Trinetra AI, billed as India’s first end-to-end AI filmmaking and content intelligence platform built specifically for micro dramas. The pitch is blunt: stop guessing what audiences want, and start knowing.
Trinetra AI is not a single tool but an orchestration layer built on three proprietary engines. Trishul handles script intelligence and story evaluation. Rudra powers AI-assisted visual production workflows. Damrooh manages multilingual audio creation and localisation. Together, they are designed to carry a creator from story development through production, localisation and monetisation without leaving the platform.
The system’s claimed edge is the intelligence underneath it. BULLET says Trinetra AI has been built on decades of storytelling patterns, audience behaviour data and content consumption insights drawn from Zee Entertainment’s vast multilingual entertainment ecosystem, giving it a grounding in Indian languages, cultures and viewing preferences that generic AI tools cannot replicate. The goal, the company says, is to shift creators from intuition-led decisions to intelligence-led storytelling.
Azim Lalani, co-founder and chief business officer of BULLET Micro Drama, framed the ambition squarely. “While AI has dramatically expanded content creation capabilities, we believe the bigger opportunity lies in helping creators understand what stories audiences will connect with, why they will resonate, and how they can be scaled commercially,” he said.
Saurabh Kushwah, co-founder and chief technology officer, was equally direct about where the real differentiation lies. “The AI race is no longer about access to models. It is about building intelligence on top of them,” he said. “What makes this platform unique is not just its ability to generate content, but its ability to help creators evaluate, refine, and scale stories using insights derived from one of India’s most extensive entertainment ecosystems.”
India is one of the world’s fastest-growing micro drama markets, and BULLET is betting that the next phase of that growth will be decided not by who creates the most content but by who creates the most successful content, most efficiently. Trinetra AI is its answer to that question.
For creators, the promise is better stories with less risk. For studios, it is a tool to cut the cost of failure. For brands looking to participate in micro drama, it offers a clearer commercial entry point. Whether the platform delivers on that promise will become apparent fast. In micro drama, everything moves quickly. That, after all, is rather the point.
