Zepto elevates Raunak Jaiswal to senior director – MH planning

BENGALURU: Zepto is giving one of its supply chain architects a bigger aisle to manage. Raunak Jaiswal has been promoted to senior director – MH planning at Zepto, a move that underscores his growing role in shaping the quick commerce company’s supply chain and planning operations during a period of rapid expansion.

The promotion comes after nearly four years at Zepto, where Jaiswal has held a series of increasingly senior positions across supply planning, distribution planning and network management. His work has focused on strengthening inventory flows, improving distribution efficiency and supporting the operational backbone required to meet the demands of India’s fast-growing quick commerce sector.

Announcing the promotion on LinkedIn, Jaiswal reflected on the lessons that have shaped his career journey. He highlighted the importance of strong leadership and consistency, noting that “right leaders make all the difference” and that “consistency beats talent.”

He also encouraged professionals to remain confident during challenging periods, saying that setbacks and unfavourable circumstances should not lead to self-doubt. Instead, he emphasised the value of continuous learning, persistence and trusting the process.

Jaiswal thanked the leaders who challenged and supported him throughout his career, as well as colleagues who played a role in his professional growth.

His rise at Zepto has been swift. He joined the company in September 2022 as associate director – distribution planning before being promoted to director – supply planning in October 2023. In February 2025, he took on the role of director – MH planning, and has now been elevated to senior director – MH planning.

Prior to joining Zepto, Jaiswal served as manager – retail supply chain design at Flipkart, where he worked on supply chain design and optimisation initiatives.

Academically, Jaiswal holds a postgraduate diploma in industrial engineering with a specialisation in supply chain management and operations from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College.

As quick commerce companies continue to compete on speed, availability and operational efficiency, supply chain leadership has become a critical differentiator. Jaiswal’s promotion reflects Zepto’s confidence in internal talent and its focus on building a stronger planning and logistics engine to support future growth.
