EDIFICE launches EFK-110D automatic watch series in India

MUMBAI: Time may fly, but EDIFICE is taking a more mechanical route to keep pace with it. The performance-focused watch brand has expanded its portfolio in India with the launch of the EFK-110D Automatic series, a new collection that blends motorsport-inspired design cues with traditional Japanese automatic watchmaking. The new line-up comprises three models EFK-110D-1A, EFK-110D-2A and EFK-110D-7A and marks a further push by EDIFICE into the growing market for mechanical sports watches.

Drawing inspiration from high-performance automotive engineering, the watches feature stainless steel cases paired with electroformed metal dials designed to replicate the texture of forged carbon, a material commonly associated with premium sports cars. Dimensional hour markers, sharp bezel detailing and an angular case design add to the collection’s sporty character.

At the heart of the series is a Japanese automatic movement offering an approximate 42-hour power reserve, underscoring the brand’s focus on traditional mechanical craftsmanship. A transparent case back allows wearers to view the movement in action, a feature prized by enthusiasts who appreciate the intricacies of automatic watchmaking.

The collection also comes equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and 100-metre water resistance, making it suitable for both everyday wear and active lifestyles.

While many modern watches compete on digital features, the EFK-110D series leans into the enduring appeal of mechanical engineering. The watches are housed in a 38mm stainless steel case, striking a balance between contemporary proportions and classic sports-watch styling.

The launch reflects a broader trend within the watch industry, where consumers are increasingly gravitating towards mechanical timepieces that combine heritage craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.

Priced at Rs 27,995, the EFK-110D-1ADR, EFK-110D-2ADR and EFK-110D-7ADR models will be available through select Casio Exclusive stores and online retail platforms.

With forged-carbon-inspired styling on the outside and a self-winding mechanical heart within, EDIFICE appears keen to remind watch enthusiasts that some of the most compelling performance stories are still told one tick at a time.
