Debashish Ghosh joins RPSG Lifestyle Media as chief executive officer
Media veteran to steer Esquire, THR India and Robb Report India portfolio growth
MUMBAI: RPSG Lifestyle Media has appointed veteran media executive Debashish Ghosh as its new chief executive officer, marking a key leadership move as the group looks to scale its lifestyle and premium media portfolio in India.
Ghosh will lead the company’s lifestyle media vertical, which includes titles such as Esquire India, The Hollywood Reporter India, Robb Report India and Manifest Life. His mandate includes strengthening editorial growth, expanding digital revenue streams and building partnerships across the luxury, entertainment and lifestyle ecosystem.
He joins from Penske Media Corporation, where he served as managing director for international markets from May 2017 to December 2025. During his tenure, he led PMC’s global expansion across multiple regions, overseeing strategy, operations, partnerships and revenue diversification across media, events and hospitality.
At PMC, Ghosh was credited with scaling international operations nearly nine-fold over 8.5 years, building more than 100 partnerships across over 45 countries and launching new business lines in experiential media, hospitality and education-linked content platforms.
Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles across India’s digital and media landscape, including chief executive officer roles at Zee Digital Convergence Ltd. and India.com under the Essel Group. He also served as chief executive officer at Times Business Solutions Limited, where he led multiple digital properties including TimesJobs and MagicBricks.
Earlier in his career, Ghosh spent more than 16 years with Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited, where he held senior technology and digital leadership roles, including director of Response and Unified IT and CTO at Times Internet.
His appointment comes as RPSG Lifestyle Media seeks to strengthen its position in India’s fast-evolving premium content space, where lifestyle, luxury and entertainment media are increasingly competing for both audience attention and advertising spend.
With extensive experience across digital transformation, global expansion and media convergence, Ghosh is expected to focus on scaling RPSG’s lifestyle portfolio into a stronger multi-platform business with deeper international linkages.
The leadership change signals the group’s intent to accelerate growth in the high-value lifestyle publishing segment, where brand-led storytelling and digital-first strategies are becoming central to long-term expansion.
