Parikshit Bhattaccharya steps up as CCO at Propagate India
MUMBAI: Propagate India is turning up the creative volume. The Publicis Groupe India digital agency has handed an expanded mandate to Parikshit Bhattaccharya, appointing him chief creative officer while he continues in his role as CCO at BBH India.
Reporting to Paritosh Srivastava, CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi India, BBH India and Propagate India, Bhattaccharya will now shape Propagate’s creative direction as it doubles down on platform-first ideas and audience-led storytelling.
At a time when brands are competing for attention, not just impressions, Propagate is betting on a blend of data, digital craft and big ideas. Bhattaccharya’s brief is clear: sharpen the agency’s creative edge, elevate its digital output and build a culture where ideas travel fluently across platforms and audiences.
With more than two decades in the business, Bhattaccharya is known for marrying sharp strategy with platform-native thinking and an obsessive respect for craft. His work spans world-first digital utilities and experiences, including Garnier’s Bassi vs Garnier Men Facewash, which picked up a Cannes Lions win earlier this year. His shelf also carries Grand Prix honours from Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx and Spikes Asia.
“Propagate is entering an accelerated phase of growth,” said Paritosh Srivastava. “Parikshit’s strategic clarity, creative audacity and digital acumen will help us deliver transformative digital thinking and measurable business impact.”
For Bhattaccharya, the move is about building cultural relevance, not just campaigns. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to shape Propagate’s creative vision in India,” he said. “I’m excited to collaborate with a stellar team and help brands create serious cultural capital.”
In a crowded digital world, Propagate is signalling its intent clearly. More imagination, sharper platforms and ideas that actually travel.
