Rajat Sharma looks to build India TV channel team

MUMBAI: Veteran TV personality Rajat Sharma may have the channel plan set out for his India TV news venture but he has yet to get his personnel in place.

A huge ad in today’s appointment’s section of the Economic Times indicates a requirement for the full spectrum of news channel staff right from COO, operations head, research head, systems administrator, news producers, correspondents, through to news presenters.
Sharma, the print medium journalist-turned-TV personality, is the promoter of television production house Independent News Service (INS). Sharma has much bigger ambitions of being a broadcaster now but if he is to get his channel up and running before the general elections in April, he will have to get a move on.
