CNBC India launches Destination India docu-series
MUMBAI: Business news channel CNBC India has announced Destination India, a docu-series that will showcase select Indian states that have taken dynamic steps on the economic reforms road to transform their business environments.
The southern state of Kerala will the first state to be featured in this series.
Kerala is fast emerging as a key area in the IT field and purports to offer an environment for investment on par with the best in the country. CNBC’s three-part special titled ‘Destination Kerala’ will showcase the state as investment friendly and IT ready, an official release says.
The episodes will showcase the recently concluded IT Kerala 2002 mega event followed by features on Kerala – The Discovery of a new IT destination. These episodes will highlight CII’s ranking of states; Kerala’s HR and telecom infrastructure, socio-economic standing, support institutions, and opinions by prominent names in the Indian IT Industry. It would also feature highlights of the State’s IT Policy, through interviews with the chief minister of Kerala, minister for IT and other top officials of the state. Also featured will be the e-governance initiatives undertaken by the State and future projections.
Destination Kerala is being presented jointly by CNBC India and Kerala State IT Mission.

News18 India to air Sabse Bada Dangal on 4 May counting day
Channel promises fastest results, live trends and analysis across five states.
