Star Vijay brings Gemini Ganesan and ‘Gladiator’ for weekend

Star Vijay is bringing one of the icons of Tamil cinema, Gemini Ganesan on the channel in its weekly show Starudan Oru Naal. The show will air on 28 November at 9.30 am.

Gemini showed his versatility doing a wide range of roles, he was popularly known as "Kadhal Mannan". He has don, serious, romance, comedy, tragedy & historical figures with no exaggeration and over-stressing, informs an official release.

As he has acted in hundreds of movies, one can only take note of his more memorable movies in which his performance was outstanding and the glittering list includes Manampol Mangalyam, Kanavaney Kan Kanda Deivam, Missiamma, Kalyana Parisu, Kalathur Kannamma, Konjum Salangai, Panamaa Paasamaa and Iru Kodugal. He has acted with Kamalhasan in the recent past Avvai Shanmugi.

On 28 November at 11:30 am, the channel will telecast the Tamil version of the Hollywood blockbuster movie Gladiator. The movie had won five Oscars in 2000.
