ETC, Alpha Punjabi to air live Indo-Pak friendship music tribute
MUMBAI: ETC Channel Punjabi and Alpha TV Punjabi of the Zee Network are organising a two day cultural and musical extravaganza in collaboration with Panj Paniyan DI Virasat Trust.
The event is tailored to offer a tribute to the friendship between India and Pakistan.
The musical event Saanjh Dillan DI will be held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar on 19 and 20 November from 6:30 pm onwards.
Saanjh Dilaan DI will telecast live in India and abroad simultaneously on ETC Channel Punjabi and Alpha TV Punjabi.
ETC Channel Punjabi and Alpha Punjabi president and business head, Rabindra Narayan said, “The concert will see Hans Raj Hans, Sukhwinder, Jatt Brothers, Afshaan, Suraiya Khanum belting out their biggest hits in a non-stop parade of unadulterated mix of Punjabi pop and Bhangra.”
The concert will feature musicians performing from India and Pakistan. The event will also witness a group of delegates from Pakistan. A royal heritage procession will precede the musical show.
The procession would march through the whole city and finally at the end of the day all of them would gather at the stadium.
ETC channel Punjabi VP (programming), Rajiee M Shinde says, “A musical concert involving artistes of India and Pakistan is an excellent way to pay tribute to the new bonhomie and friendship between two neighbours.”

Discovery India has announced the launch of World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, a new travel and food series set to premiere on TLC on 29 March at 7:00 PM. Hosted and curated by the popular chef and television personality, the show blends food, travel and culture through an intimate and immersive lens.
Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra journeys to global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions and human connections behind every dish. The series opens in London, weaving its iconic landmarks with diverse culinary scenes, before moving to Spain’s vineyards, olive orchards and coastal kitchens.
