FremantleMedia appoints Baker as head of retail, UK
MUMBAI: FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide (FLW), the licensing division of FremantleMedia, has appointed Claire Baker as head of retail for the UK.
In this newly created position, Baker will be responsible for defining retail strategies for FLW brands and for building and fostering relationships with retail buyers across the UK with a focus on categories such as toys and games, apparel, publishing, gifts, housewares and food.
Prior to joining FLW, Baker was marketing manager within the Family Entertainment and Television teams at Warner Home Video where she managed marketing planning and implementation, working across the company’s divisions and with third party licensing agencies and manufacturers.
Previously, Baker has held positions at Warner Home Video, Tomy UK Ltd, Carlton Licensing, BBC Worldwide, Hasbro Europe, LEGO and Penguin Books and managed well-known entertainment brands such as Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Peter Rabbit.
