Chandra meets Musharraf; to explore Pak further
MUMBAI: Zee Telefilms CMD Subhash Chandra met the Pakistan president Pervez Mushrraf during his three-day visit to the country.
Zee Group chief has also met a number of media and entertainment industry personalities to explore the ways to enhance the group’s revenues from Pakistan.
PTI has quoted Zee Telefilms vice president Ashish Kaul as saying, “we are now looking at exploring all options to enhance the group’s revenue from the neighbouring country. Zee is also open to forge partnerships in Pakistan as part of its business initiatives. We are open to any kind of partnership.”
Kaul claimed that Zee’s bouquet of entertainment channels was well received by Pak viewers in the country.
Chandra also stressed on the need to address the menace of piracy afflicting the entertainment industry in the two nations during his interaction with various personalities.
He also called on Punjab province chief minister Choudhary Pervez Ilahi in Lahore.
