Mumbai November 9, 2005: November 14 is dedicated to children and their entertainment. Naturally, ETC, has also dedicated its popular song request show SMS 7575 – Show My Song to its young viewers.

Little ones and also viewers who are still young at heart, are invited to send their views or a joke or even a funny one liner or their experience along with their song request and name of the film to 7575.

The best part of the show are twin sisters of ETC Veejay Akriti. Named Puku and Suku (Prakriti and Sukriti) these ten years old are full of life and enthusiasm. Like their sister, they are also good singer but excel in painting and studies too. On Monday November 14that 8.30 PM Puku and Suku plan to highjack the show from their elder sister and anchor it for their young friends. (Repeat on Tuesday November 15 at 1.00PM)

 

So SMS 7575-Show My Song on 14th November on ETC will surely be captivating and glamorously childish. It’s the day for the children and by the children with loads of fun and smiles.

All children need to do is take their own mobile and if they don’t have one, then borrow their parent’s mobile, go to the message box, type “ETC SMS”, then leave a space, type the message, request song and name of the film and SMS it to 7575. If they want they can also request for cute Bachcha songs.

SMS 7575 is the popular show on ETC and regularly features in top 25 shows across music channels. In the C & S homes of Hindi Speaking markets from the period of October 23 to 29 (TG SEC ABC age 15 to 34 years) SMS 7575 stood 19th with a TVR of 0.14. Interesting point is that males prefer SMS show more then female audience.

 

ETC is a music based entertainment channel with music and films dominating more than 98% of the programming content. In all India markets, ETC enjoys the largest reach amongst all the music channels. ETC is watched by more then 35 million households.

Mukta Arts and Green Gold ink MOU to animate iconic film IPs

Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan to spawn animated shows plus features.

MUMBAI: When classic hindi movie meets animation, the result is a fresh reel of nostalgia with a cartoon twist. Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on animated shows and feature films drawn from Mukta Arts’ four-decade treasure trove of iconic IPs. The partnership taps Mukta’s SGM Animation Studio launched in 2025 as its dedicated animation and games arm and Green Gold’s proven track record in building scalable, homegrown franchises. Creative teams from both sides have already kicked off discussions, with the first project currently in development.

The slate will draw inspiration from landmark Mukta films including Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Saudagar and Iqbal, plus character-led spin-offs from those universes. The aim is to reimagine these stories for today’s young, global audiences while preserving their emotional core.

Green Gold Animation (home of Chhota Bheem) founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said, “This partnership with SGM Studios allows us to apply our experience in building long-lasting animation IPs to a truly iconic film catalogue. Together, we aim to create animated worlds that are rooted in these legendary stories, yet designed to connect with today’s young, global audiences.”
