Shahid Kapoor to feature in ‘Super Mard’ on ETC
Mumbai April 24, 2006: ETC walks hand in hand with Hindi Film and Music industry. ETC Super Mard’ is one more interesting dimension to this commitment. This exclusive and Power Packed slot is bringing witty and polite Shahid Kapoor as the Super Mard. Witty because, he gave all the correct answers and polite because he tolerated nonsensical questions from Suresh Menon with a tolerant smile.
ETC Super Mard is dedicated to leading men of Hindi cinema. ETC devotes fifteen days of the month to one male artiste wherein the hero of the film is featured in one shows. In a chat show called Chit Chaat ETC anchor holds an uncensored conversation with the star. In the special half an hour dedicated show Super Mard talks to the anchor about himself, his favorite moments, his costars, his role and the efforts he has put in to develop the character. ETC also shows songs and clippings from the film of Super Mard for one half of the month.

During the show Suresh asks him about his concept of a Super Mard and Shahid Quips, “To be Super Mard you have to be kind.” And Muscles? Shahid doesn’t believe that it is essential to have a perfect muscular body to be a star. It is more of acting caliber one requires to be an actor.
About his character in the film 36 China Town Shahid tells that it is the role of a struggling actor who has come here after a fight with his parents. “He has told them that he will come back only after making it big in the industry and here he gets stuck in a sticky situation.” But according to Shahid “besides thrill and secret this film also has its funny moments from Paresh Ji, Johnny JI and ofcourse me.”
And how was it working with Kareena? “Beyond a point it was like any other costar”.

Zee5 launches five free FAST channels on Samsung TV Plus India
New genre-led channels bring comedy, drama, horror, classics and South films to Smart TVs.
MUMBAI: Zee5 just turned Samsung Smart TVs into a free entertainment buffet because when premium content costs nothing, even the remote control starts smiling. Zee5 has launched five curated free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels on Samsung TV Plus India, making high-quality, genre-specific entertainment available subscription-free to millions of Samsung Smart TV owners across the country.
The five channels now live are:
Zee Comedy Nation – Popular comedy shows and movies
Zee Dil Se – Compelling drama series
ZEE Horror Nights – Horror and supernatural content
ZEE Cine Classic – Timeless Indian films
ZEE South Flix – High-energy South Indian films dubbed in Hindi
All content is drawn from Zee5’s extensive library and programmed in a lean-back, always-on format ideal for large-screen viewing. This launch strengthens Zee5’s Connected TV strategy at a time when 64 per cent of its premium content watch time already comes from connected devices.
