Walt Disney to promote High School Musical 3 from 13 July
MUMBAI: Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has revealed its plans to promote its yet to be released original movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
The company will showcase the movie‘s global first look on 13 July, on Disney Channels Worldwide.
Hosted by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and including the song ‘Now or Never‘ from High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the trailer features all new footage from the movie, which is slated for release on 24 Oct.
Beginning 13 July in select countries, the trailer of the movie will be aired in locales around the globe, including US, Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico, among others.
The worldwide online launch will also kick off on Disney.com on 14 July at 12:01 am (ET).
Performed by the cast from the movie, “Now or Never” will debut on Friday, 11 July at 7:15 pm (ET) on Radio Disney.
“We‘re paying homage to the fans by debuting our first look on the very network that launched the franchise. High School Musical‘ is a worldwide phenomenon and as such, it is important to pursue a nearly simultaneous launch of the first look to fans everywhere, employing our online venue, Disney.com, as well as our international Disney Channels and Jetix platforms,” said Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group president Mark Zoradi.

Mukta Arts and Green Gold ink MOU to animate iconic film IPs
Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan to spawn animated shows plus features.
MUMBAI: When classic hindi movie meets animation, the result is a fresh reel of nostalgia with a cartoon twist. Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on animated shows and feature films drawn from Mukta Arts’ four-decade treasure trove of iconic IPs. The partnership taps Mukta’s SGM Animation Studio launched in 2025 as its dedicated animation and games arm and Green Gold’s proven track record in building scalable, homegrown franchises. Creative teams from both sides have already kicked off discussions, with the first project currently in development.
The slate will draw inspiration from landmark Mukta films including Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Saudagar and Iqbal, plus character-led spin-offs from those universes. The aim is to reimagine these stories for today’s young, global audiences while preserving their emotional core.
Green Gold Animation (home of Chhota Bheem) founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said, “This partnership with SGM Studios allows us to apply our experience in building long-lasting animation IPs to a truly iconic film catalogue. Together, we aim to create animated worlds that are rooted in these legendary stories, yet designed to connect with today’s young, global audiences.”
