BANGALORE: Noted Kannada actor and theater personality Lokesh passed away on 14 October at Bhagwan Mahveer Jain Hospital Bangalore following a heart attack.

Lokesh's body has been donated to M S Ramaiah Medical College and his pacemaker would be given to a poor person, as per the actor's last wishes.

Lokesh was the only son of Kannada theatre Acharaya M V Subbiaiah Naidu. He started his film career as a child actor and then moved on to theatre. Lokesh, who has won state film awards, has acted, directed and produced tele-serials also.
