MUMBAI: Chutti TV, the kids‘ entertainment channel from the Sun TV Network, has designed a month-long vacation schedule as part of its new programming strategy to celebrate Christmas with its audience.
As part of the new lineup, Chutti TV will air two Hollywood blockbusters that include adventure movie Jumanji and adventure of the small talking mouse, ‘Stuart Little 2‘.

While ‘Stuart Little 2‘ will be screened on 24 December at 5 pm, Jumanji will be aired on 27 December.

As part of its Christmas promotion campaign, Chutti TV has also launched the Bumba ‘Chrisma-Chris-Child‘ contest wherein mothers will participate to gift their children exclusive ‘Bumba‘ merchandize.

Earlier, the channel had come up with the innovative idea of interacting with the kids with a Chutti Santa who would fulfill children‘s wishes. On 1 December, promos were sent on air asking children to send in their wishes.

Said Chutti TV channel head Kavitha Jaubin, “Although we did expect a good turnout of letters through this innovation, the current turnout was least expected and letters are still pouring in. We will definitely fulfill as many wishes as possible. Our promotion and reach has definitely helped us in garnering the generated response.”

MUMBAI: When classic hindi movie meets animation, the result is a fresh reel of nostalgia with a cartoon twist. Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on animated shows and feature films drawn from Mukta Arts’ four-decade treasure trove of iconic IPs. The partnership taps Mukta’s SGM Animation Studio launched in 2025 as its dedicated animation and games arm and Green Gold’s proven track record in building scalable, homegrown franchises. Creative teams from both sides have already kicked off discussions, with the first project currently in development.

The slate will draw inspiration from landmark Mukta films including Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Saudagar and Iqbal, plus character-led spin-offs from those universes. The aim is to reimagine these stories for today’s young, global audiences while preserving their emotional core.

Green Gold Animation (home of Chhota Bheem) founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said, “This partnership with SGM Studios allows us to apply our experience in building long-lasting animation IPs to a truly iconic film catalogue. Together, we aim to create animated worlds that are rooted in these legendary stories, yet designed to connect with today’s young, global audiences.”
