Star Plus launches ‘Prithviraj Chauhan’ music album

Mumbai, May 25 , 2006: To give the viewers entertainment galore, just after the launch of its biggest historical series STAR PLUS draws out another offering with the launch of the music album of its mega opulent series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha-Prithviraj Chauhan…A Times Music & Sagar Arts presentation, the music album is titled after the show Dharti Ka Veer Yodha- Prithviraj Chauhan, which is a unique collection of seven exclusive tracks releasing on June 2nd.

Said Ajay Vidyasagar, Executive Vice President, STAR India, “What could be a better way of extending our brand experience, taking it from visual to an audio experience. So, we are back with yet another music launch – ‘Dharti Ka Veer Yodha-Prithviraj Chauhan’. After the success of the Nach Baliye, Remix and STAR Parivaar Awards albums, we are sure that this new launch will be one of the major milestones for extensions of STAR’s Entertainment properties and the music category.

With a range of soulful music the seven tracks of the album: Oh Vidhaata, Raj Dulare So Jaa, Uttradhikari, Sunn Re Megha, Jai Bholenath, Mitti and Dharti Ka Veer Yodha-Prithviraj Chauhan, are all penned by the applauded & veteran lyricist Ravindra Jain, who is also the music director of the album. The songs are adorned by the country’s most acclaimed playback voices like – Roop Kumar Rathode, Sadhna Sargam, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghosal, Babul Supriyo & Suresh Wadekar to name a few. However the music for the title track is given by Gaurav Issar and the lyrics are penned by Dr. Sohan Sharma.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.

The launch marks a milestone for free streaming in India, offering audiences a dedicated comedy destination directly from their Samsung TV home screen. It arrives as Samsung TV Plus India celebrates its 5th anniversary, during which the service has grown its monthly active users by 42 per cent and more than doubled its total viewing hours. The platform now offers over 180 free channels across 14 languages.
