MUMBAI: Following encouraging on-air ratings and increases in mobile downloads, viewer-submitted video uploads, and VSpot mobile streams, US broadcaster VH1 and IFilm have announced plans to extend Web Junk 20 from its original slate of six episodes, with six new episodes.

Web Junk 20 celebrates and brings a unique look at all the weirdest, wildest, and most hilarious internet video clips out there.

The additional episodes will give viewers more of what they really want to see — celebrity slip-ups, animated satire, bloopers, and everyday people at their most outrageous.

VH1 says that its partnership with IFilm has struck a pop culture chord chord, bringing together two things that people love, TV and the Web. The two parties have done so by reaching viewers across multiple platforms at increasing rates. On-air Web Junk 20 ratings went up among the key 18 to 49 demographic by 47 per cent from the same time period last year.

VH1 further says that since it premiered in January 2006, Web Junk 20 has been the most viewed VH1 programming on VSpot at VH1.com and has accounted for more than 25 per cent of all VH1 Mobile downloads. The success of Web Junk 20 on VSpot has also driven streams to record numbers in the month of February.

Additions to the line-up include two one-hour episodes and four half-hour episodes. VH1 and IFILM will also launch a Show Us Your Junk viewer-generated video competition where one viewer will be crowned “winner” and his/her Web junk clip will air on an episode of Web Junk 20. In addition, the winner will receive an HP Digital Media Center with Intel technology and the latest Aquos liquid crystal television from Sharp.

MUMBAI: Shipra Khanna just packed her bags and her flavours because when a celebrated chef takes you on a global plate tour, even the couch starts feeling like first-class. Warner Bros. Discovery India has announced the launch of World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, a new travel and food series set to premiere on TLC on 29 March at 7:00 PM. Hosted and curated by the popular chef and television personality, the show blends food, travel and culture through an intimate and immersive lens.

Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra journeys to global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions and human connections behind every dish. The series opens in London, weaving its iconic landmarks with diverse culinary scenes, before moving to Spain’s vineyards, olive orchards and coastal kitchens.

Warner Bros. Discovery head of advertising revenues for South Asia Tanaz Mehta said: “At TLC, our focus has always been on bringing authentic stories that reflect how people live and connect. World On My Plate builds on this by using food as a lens to explore shared traditions across geographies. We’re excited to collaborate with Chef Shipra Khanna, whose perspective brings both depth and relatability to these narratives.”

Shipra Khanna added, “Food has always been my way of connecting with people and understanding cultures. With World On My Plate, I’ve had the opportunity to step into new worlds, learn from incredible individuals, and share stories that go far beyond the plate. This show is very special to me.”

The series promises strong visual storytelling, meaningful interactions and a fresh perspective on global cuisine celebrating flavours alongside the emotions and traditions that shape them.

In a world where travel shows often feel like distant postcards, Shipra Khanna is serving up something far more personal: a passport to cultures through their kitchens, proving that the best way to understand a place is still through the plate. Tune in to World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna starting 29 March at 7:00 PM on TLC.
