MUMBAI: Nick is all set to give kids’ a summer vacation finale they’ll never forget! The channel’s ground promotion activity — Jadoo Space Challenge will give kids a chance to get up close and personal with Jadoo.
Jadoo Space Challenge will hit Mumbai on 12 June and in Delhi on 19 June.
Jadoo Space Challenge will involve the adaptation of Jadoo’s home planet Tarkopar on ground, very much like its on-air version on J Bole Toh Jadoo, complete with mushroom-shaped dwellings, two suns, smoke-filled craters, alien creatures, comets, stars, space transportation pods and more. Kids can also get Tarkopar Tattoos, alien hairstyles, space-on-your-face painting, try the Moonwalker, bounce on trampolines etc – there’s no dearth of things to do! In Mumbai, kids will be treated with live performances.
During the four-hour event, kids will also be gifted special Space Challenge gear like alien antennae, glow sticks etc. Moonbiker Races, Alien Blaster, Khajoor Mein Atka, Grahon ka Khel, a customised Jadoo bowling alley, Aar ya Paar, and Tarkopar Chakra are just some of the exciting and novel challenges they can take on. Kids will be given 10 tokens at entry that they can use to participate in each game and if they win, they get back 10 tokens apart from a prize. All tokens won will be contributed towards Jadoo’s final points tally.
The grand finale is a unique basketball match between Jadoo and his arch enemy, the evil Namitshak. The match, reminiscent of the one in that other Jadoo starrer Koi Mil Gaya, will be packed with action, magical spells, drama and outer space tricks.
Jadoo will be visiting several locations in each city – malls and amusement parks. Kids can also log on to www.nicksplat.com, call on 1250111555 or sms “Jadoo” to 6882 to get passes.
Jadoo’s Space Challenge has been sponsored by McDonald’s and Britannia Treat Duet in association with Frito Lay and Parry’s Butter Scotch.

Mukta Arts and Green Gold ink MOU to animate iconic film IPs
Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan to spawn animated shows plus features.
MUMBAI: When classic hindi movie meets animation, the result is a fresh reel of nostalgia with a cartoon twist. Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on animated shows and feature films drawn from Mukta Arts’ four-decade treasure trove of iconic IPs. The partnership taps Mukta’s SGM Animation Studio launched in 2025 as its dedicated animation and games arm and Green Gold’s proven track record in building scalable, homegrown franchises. Creative teams from both sides have already kicked off discussions, with the first project currently in development.
The slate will draw inspiration from landmark Mukta films including Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Saudagar and Iqbal, plus character-led spin-offs from those universes. The aim is to reimagine these stories for today’s young, global audiences while preserving their emotional core.
Green Gold Animation (home of Chhota Bheem) founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said, “This partnership with SGM Studios allows us to apply our experience in building long-lasting animation IPs to a truly iconic film catalogue. Together, we aim to create animated worlds that are rooted in these legendary stories, yet designed to connect with today’s young, global audiences.”
Mukta Arts Ltd. filmmaker and founder Subhash Ghai added, “Mukta Arts has always believed in creating stories with lasting emotional value. Through animation, we are extending our IP into a new medium for the next generation.”
In an industry where timeless tales never go out of fashion, this collaboration promises to bring beloved characters back to life with a modern, animated glow proving that some stories are too good to stay in live-action. Stay tuned for the first animated frame to drop.
