Mid Day Multimedia takes position to enter the TV channel fray
MUMBAI: And now we have one more eager beaver taking position to ride the recent spurt of TV channels.
The board of Mid Day Multimedia has paved way for the company’s foray into the business of production, distribution, commissioning, acquisition of copyrights of films, and to start a television channel in the future. The board has approved alteration of the object clause in the Memorandum of Association of the company to include clauses that will allow it to carry on additional businesses as proposed.
At the markets, the counter notched a good session. The scrip remained positive through the day peaking at Rs 25.00 after its open of Rs 22.75. The stock pushed up 7.47 per cent to close at Rs 24.45 as news of the above board approval reached the markets. Volumes of 37,059 shares were recorded on the counter.
