Award winning cameraman Gowrishankar passes away

BANGALORE: Award winning cameraman BC Gowrishankar passed away on 11 November at a private clinic, where he had been admitted with lung and liver problems three days ago. He is survived by his actress daughter Rakshita.

Gowrishankar has shot for most top producers and directors of Kannada films, as also Tamil and Hindi films and his work behind the lens has been called mesmerising.

His last movie Kanchanaganga, a Kannada film starring Shivrajkumar is due for release this Friday.
