Orcomm Advertising wins digital duties for Snapdeal

MUMBAI: Orcomm Advertising, an Indore headquartered creative agency, has bagged the digital duties for e-commerce marketplace Snapdeal following a multi-agency pitch.

The mandate involves creative duties for the leading e-commerce player. Snapdeal was previously working with Foxymoron and Animal for its digital creative duties.

A spokesperson from Snapdeal confirmed saying, “Orcomm possess a great understanding of tier II and tier III markets. We are excited to partner with them to penetrate our brand deeper into these markets.”

Orcomm Advertising CEO Kavita Koserwal said, “The real action is in tier II and tier III cities of India. Snapdeal attracts a sizeable share of its business from these key markets. This is an exciting opportunity for us to leverage our learning.”

Over the years, Snapdeal has also been known for its advertising campaigns such as ‘Unbox Zindagi’, ‘Sale-o-Shayari’ that have gone ahead to be a part of the local lingo.

Orcomm Advertising offers 360-degree creative solutions to clients like DB Group, Sakshi Group, Jaipuria Institute of Management, among others. In a short span of 10 years, the agency has delivered award-winning campaigns engaging tier II and III urban aspirers and has clinched compelling gains for its stakeholder brands.

Some of its notable campaigns have been Live No Negative, Sarthak Diwali and Jal Satyagraha for Dainik Bhaskar. Over the years, Orcomm has created a niche as a creative solutions provider for ‘real India’ markets.
