Ogilvy PR Worldwide appoints Handa as national president for India ops
MUMBAI: Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) has appointed Meenu Handa as national president, India. Handa will oversee and continue to expand Ogilvy PR’s national network.
O&M CEO India and South Asia John Goodman said, “Meenu is a terrific talent, and we are very glad to have her on board. PR is a core component of our 360 degree Brand Stewardship strategy, and we are very optimistic about it’s future growth in India.”
Handa comes to Ogilvy PR from IPAN where she worked for the past 15 years. She has worked extensively across various industry sectors for clients such as HLL, Posco, EDS, HCL Group, Allied Domecq, Swatch Group, Star TV, MTV and Boeing, and various industry associations.
“I look forward to working with Ogilvy PR, which is one of the very few agencies offering integrated communications. It fits well with the current approach to PR by both, brands and businesses. They realise that the strategic role of PR is critical to their success,” said Handa.

Shazam also gets a meaningful upgrade. It can now identify songs without an internet connection. This might sound like a minor convenience, but anyone who has tried to Shazam something at a crowded venue with patchy signal will tell you it is anything but minor. The feature works locally on-device, which also means it is faster.
CarPlay Gets Smarter Controls
CarPlay has been updated with deeper integration for intelligent voice assistants. The goal is to reduce how often drivers need to look at a screen or tap anything at all. You speak, things happen. New emojis have been added in this update. They will find their way into your conversations faster than you expect. Family Sharing has also been updated, with more granular control over shared payments and subscriptions.
