Hutch launches devotional caller tune service
MUMBAI: After film song tunes and then the real songs as caller tunes, now it is the turn of devotional tunes. Cellular service provider Hutch has launched devotional caller tunes for its subscribers in Delhi.
Subscribers can dial 123 from their Hutch phone and say ‘Caller Tunes’ followed by ‘Devotional’ to set popular aartis and bhajans as their caller tunes. Over 50 devotional caller tunes are being offered in diverse regional languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Speaking on the introduction of this new segment of Caller Tunes, Hutch operations director Sanjoy Mukerji said, “Hutch constantly innovates in its value added services to enhance the subscriber’s experience of our service and at the same time reach out to a wider audience. Our latest offering will not only help subscribers use their favourite devotional songs as Caller Tunes, but will also add to the rich content that already marks this service.”
Caller Tunes which Hutch launched in October offers tunes in Bollywood, International, Punjabi, Record-My-Own, Indi Pop, Dialogues, Hutch Tunes, Instrumental, Shuffle-Your-Tunes, and Whacky Sounds at a nominal fee of Rs. 30 a month for three caller tunes for free and additional caller tunes are charged at rate of Rs. 10 per song, informs a comapny release.
