Brand Portrait ropes in Rajesh Anantha Subramanian as CEO – US & Canada
MUMBAI: Brand Portrait Consulting Pvt. Ltd., a full service advertising agency in India, has appointed Rajesh Ananthasubramanian as CEO, to handle their operations in United States and Canada.
In his capacity, Ananthasubramanian will be responsible for managing Brand Portrait’s business activities in US and Canada, providing the company an opportunity to focus on its international expansion and tap the these overseas markets. This is part of the company’s first stage to embark on its international development programme.
Commenting on this appointment, Brand Portrait Co-founder Raj Narain says, “I believe after techies who have brought glory to brand India, it is the turn of the marketers to add feathers to the cap. Ananthasubramanian brings with him experience in the field of marketing, advertising, banking and IT. Prior to joining Brand Portrait Consultancies, he was the CEO of India plaza, an online Indian shopping portal. He has worked on the integration of two ecommerce websites (Indiaplaza.com and Fabmall.com) in a single technical platform – Microsoft.net technologies and launched a gifting platform – a catalogue of more than two million products, informs an official release.
Founded by Raj Narain and Venu Gopal Nair in 2004, Brand Portrait goes beyond offering traditional / offline advertising services, but also offers advertising in the digital space, CRM and logistics management through its associate company, Brand Portrait Digital.

Emami names Dhruv Aggarwal as chief growth officer
Former Bain partner steps in as FMCG firm sharpens growth playbook
MUMBAI: Emami Limited has appointed Dhruv Aggarwal as its chief growth officer, effective 25 March 2026, following the resignation of Giriraj Bagri.
Aggarwal joins the FMCG major from Bain & Company, where he most recently served as partner. With over two decades of experience across consulting and strategy, he brings a global perspective shaped by work across India, the US, the UK and Germany.
During his tenure at Bain, Aggarwal advised consumer, retail and media companies on large-scale transformations, business turnarounds and growth strategies. He was also closely involved with India’s startup ecosystem, guiding early-stage ventures on scaling and digital expansion, while supporting private equity and venture capital firms on investment decisions.
His earlier stints include a brief role at Barclays Capital and operational experience at Jindal Power, giving him a mix of financial and industry exposure.
Academically, Aggarwal holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and has also been associated with University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as a PhD candidate and teaching assistant.
The appointment comes at a time when Emami Limited is looking to sharpen its growth strategy in a competitive consumer market. With a seasoned strategist now at the helm of growth, the company appears set to double down on transformation and expansion in the months ahead.
