JioSaavn lets Jio users set JioTunes with one tap

Mumbai: JioSaavn has integrated JioTunes into its music streaming experience, allowing Jio users to set their favourite songs as caller tunes directly while listening to them on the platform.

The integration enables more than 500 million Jio users to activate a JioTune with a single tap while streaming music on JioSaavn. Users can choose from the platform’s catalogue of over 100 million songs across 16-plus languages, spanning trending tracks, independent releases and older favourites.

Jio users are eligible for one free JioTune every 30 days. The feature is also available through the MyJio app, allowing users to discover a song and activate it as their caller tune without having to navigate through separate services.

The move brings music discovery and personalisation closer together, allowing users to use songs as a form of self-expression. JioSaavn has also highlighted this use case through its recent “Hello Se Bhi Pehle” campaign, which positioned JioTunes as a way for music to create an emotional connection with callers even before a conversation begins.

The platform offers curated recommendations across categories such as trending, popular, romantic and devotional music, giving users options based on different moods and occasions.

JioSaavn Pro subscribers get unlimited JioTune changes along with ad-free music, unlimited offline downloads and HD audio. Users who do not want a full premium subscription can also opt for JioTunes Plus, which provides unlimited JioTune changes during a month.

JioSaavn currently has more than 100 million monthly active users and offers music and podcasts across smartphones, desktop web and smart speakers. The service is available in 12 display language interfaces.

For Jio users, the platform also offers access to more than 3 million songs that can be selected as JioTunes.
